Wow! The most amazing thing happened today. I met a new friend and he is a big hairy orang-utan. His name is Olli. He gave me a big cuddle and a piggy back. I can’t wait to go on lots of adventures with him.

Subject: Our Amazing Visit To Auckland Museum
Hello again!
I went with Room 6 to Auckland Museum. What a great day! We had to come to school really early because the bus would have gone without us! It was a long way but we got to watch a movie on the bus. When we got to the museum we saw lots of very cool things. We spent most of the time in the “Scars on the Heart” exhibition which was all about The ANZAC soldiers. Some of it made me a bit sad! The volcano was a bit scary too!
On the way home one of the kids fell asleep. I would have liked a snooze too but I was too busy playing with the kids.
Thanks for a great day Room 6. I learnt heaps and had lots of fun too.

This weekend I went to Lily's house. I went on a HUGE flying fox the length
of a paddock. As Lily and I were zooming through the air, Rocky ,the dog,
grabbed the rope and pulled us along. (What a crazy pooch!!)
We also went on an imaginary trip to the beach, I caught some big waves!, I
was lucky because there was a surfboard small enough for me. It was fun
playing the piano and getting to know Bubbles and Ginger, the cats.
After that I had a sleep with a lady in the lounge. She looked friendly but
for some reason she would not talk to me or giggle even when I told her a
funny joke! (What is the difference between an Acorn and a corn on the cob?
... Nothing because it is A....corn.... get it!! Acorn....Hee hee!)
Anyhow I had blast with Lily!
I am looking forward to this week at school.
